APOSTLES IN THE MARKETPLACE

As apostles in the marketplace, we are commissioned to go beyond the borders of the Church and make disciples of all nations. We are to interpret the doctrines, signs, and decrees of heaven in the language of the Chaldeans and the tongues of the children of Rahab. We are custodians of heaven’s secrets to revival and advancements in our fields.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity in obedience to Christ.

We are the light of the world; we dispel darkness, discern danger and discover directions. To one we are the fragrance of death leading to death; to the other we are the fragrance of life unto life. However, in all things, we act in honour of the King; at our words, waters turn to wine; and at our word, waters turn to blood.

We don’t compete in our space; rather, we recreate and reconstruct it, for we are territorial commanders appointed to make judgements over the socioeconomic space we occupy. We possess the keys of the Kingdom and our decrees are both sure and steadfast. We enforce God’s will in our clime. We do exploits. We turn our world upside-down.

We are daring and courageous; we live by the power of the age to come. Blackmails and betrayals cannot defeat or beset us, for we possess the wisdom of the ancients; we are wise as serpents and harmless as doves. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. We ride upon the winds, we rise above the storms.

We shall not bow our knees to mammon; neither shall we ever kiss Baal. The Lions may roar, but before us they shall be silent and still, for we are of the royal order of the tribe of Judah. The fire of their fury may be seven times hot, but we shall pass through it without scorch or singe.

In the end, we shall not die by accident; we shall die unafraid, for we are already dead for the cause which we live. Ours shall be a conscious surrender of our lives as we transit to higher realms of glory.

Let this confession rule your life as you pray it consistently into your reality. Shalom.
