TO MY NEW NCCF FAMILY MEMBERS (4)

Hello Jesus Corper,
Gracious greetings to you.

RURAL RUGGED is the evangelistic brand of the Nigeria Christian Corpers' Fellowship, aimed at reaching out to rural communities with the love of Jesus and winning souls for the Kingdom of God. This objective is achieved through provision of welfare, social, and medical services as well as door-to-door and/or public gospel awareness campaigns.

It is no more news that RURUAL RUGGED will be carried out this weekend by almost all state chapters of NCCF nationwide. Both heaven and hell are aware of the activities that will rock the spiritual clime. And yes! Lucifer will fall again like lightning from the sky.

You can’t afford to miss out on this crucial assignment for Kingdom advancement. Make up your mind, prepare yourself and get on the frontline. The clouds are full, the harvest is ripe; behold, salvation is here.

As you go, you can be sure that I and a host of other like-minded Senior Friends nationwide will be darting arrows in your favour, as we take our stand between the porch and the altar. The cry of saints shall ascend to heaven as sweet smelling savour and blessings shall be released for this divine agenda.

Remember that this is warfare, not a funfair. It is not time to take selfies … No, it is time to put on the whole armour of God and get ready to bring Goliaths down and enthrone Jesus in the hearts of men again. I am not going to be surprised to know that lacking provisions shall be made available at injury times, for the Lord will favour the cause of His Kingdom.

During the course of my service, I participated in four different expeditions and I know that the territorial powers always tried to frustrate our efforts. We faced our most challenges during the first and last missions; interestingly, they were the best we enjoyed.

In the first, we got to a place where the road was broken up into two and water filled everywhere. The truck completely filled with Jesus Corpers could barely pass through. It was like crossing the Red Sea. We had our fears and anxiety, but God had His plan and power; we successfully crossed over to and fro.

In the second, the rains beat hard upon us almost throughout our journey. Rather than mourn, murmur and grudge because of our conditions, we sang joyously and our hearts were strengthened. On our return, pushed our bus through crossed a large stream whose water level had risen because of the heavy downpour on the previous day. It was like crossing over the Jordan River with the ark of covenant, and it was a mark of victory for us.

I do not mean to frighten you with these stories; rather I want to strengthen your hearts by proclaiming the faithfulness of God. I do not know the kind of challenges you will encounter, but one thing is sure: you will triumph greatly; not by power, not my might, but by the Spirit of God. So be careful of fleshly postures. Never think you can achieve anything on your own; rather, depend on the Holy Spirit for grace, guidance and empowerment.

The Lord of Hosts is with you and the shout of the King is among you. And where the word of a King is, there is power!

Boldly declare, ‘The sword of the Lord and the sword of NCCF.’ Blow the trumpet in Zion; let the shout of victory fill the air for the Lord Himself will fight for us! Amen. Selah.

Stay blessed.

Warm regards,
Bright Ukwenga,
